On Sunday 2nd July, hundreds of Welsh soon-to-be-newlyweds arrived at The Springs in Dyffryn for Cwtchfest 2023 – Wales’ only wedding festival, now in its 7th consecutive year!
The Springs is our most recent venue partnership, run in conjunction with Jonathan and the team at Dyffryn and offering completely bespoke, indoor / outdoor weddings in South Wales.
Set in acres of natural, tranquil countryside with four lakes, it’s a beautiful backdrop for a couple’s big day – and a fantastic place for a wedding festival, too!
That’s why we teamed up with the incredible Cwtch The Bride team to host Cwtchfest 2023, where guests could enjoy live music, workshops, street food and meet the loveliest wedding professionals that Wales has to offer. There’d be exclusive on-the-day offers, cocktails, wedding wares and stalls covering everything from dresses right down to the little details.
Wedding demos, talks and workshops were peppered throughout the event, and guests could meet other couples and suppliers to help plan that all important day.

And what’s more, the money raised from tickets has been donated to the Know Your Lemons campaign in memory of Dawn Wilson, who was one of the much loved Cwtch the Bride team.
With hundreds of happy guests in attendance, we’re thrilled that Cwtchfest 2023 was a huge, deserved success – a phenomenal day celebrating all things weddings!
It was great to be able to showcase The Springs as the beautiful venue it is, and chatting to couples about catering (it’s what we love most, after all!).
A big thank to you to Maria for organising this brilliant event, and to all the suppliers, experts and attendees who made it the most memorable Cwtchfest so far.
